About This Project

Meissa

Moving crowns traverse Meissa in a slow rotation of amber, copper, and incandescent gold. The eye follows these turquoise-rimmed lines as they unfold, tighten, and reappear further on, carried within a continuous dance.

At the center, denser forms extend this circular movement while more fluid bursts gradually spread toward the outer edges. Certain traces emerge only fleetingly before being drawn back into the current that runs through them.

The whole retains the sensation of a breath, carried by this slow drift where forms and memory continually resurface.
